Terms and conditions of contract
By paying the rent the Tenant accepts the Terms and Conditions of Contract of Citykoti Apartments (Citykoti) listed below, which are drawn up to promote the comfort, safety and wellbeing of all tenants living in the building.
1. Payment of rent, checking in and transfer of tenure
1.1 Rent shall be paid in advance in full either with a transfer to our account or with a credit card payment (VISA, Mastercard). You may need to give us your credit card data by telephone, if needed, because for security reasons we do not recommend sending the data by email. In case of a tenancy period longer than three months, we can agree separately on payment arrangements.
1.2 You should check in on the first day of the tenancy period not earlier than 15:00 and check out not later than 10:00 on the last day of the tenancy period.
1.3 Regarding the tenure, the contract shall enter into force and the tenure shall transfer to the tenant, when the rent has been paid in full. Contract number should be stated in the payment details.
2. Supplies and services included in the rent
2.1 The rent includes heating, electricity, normal waste management, final cleaning, TV licence, internet connection, and weekly changing of bedlinen and towels on request.
2.2 The apartment is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, ceramic stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, hairdryer, water kettle, vacuum cleaner and a TV set. A family apartment also includes a dining table for four.
The apartment is rented out in a condition and with such equipment as there was at the moment of concluding the contract and is described on the company website at www.citykoti.com/asunnot.
3. Citykoti rules
3.1 We need the credit card details of the tenant in connection with the check-in.
3.2 If you lose the keys/parking card, you must inform Citykodi immediately about this. We charge 500 euros for compensation of the new lock case and new keys.
3.3 Smoking in the apartment is strictly prohibited. We charge 500 euros for compensation of the ozonization of the apartment.
3.4 Pets are not permitted in the apartment. We charge 500 euros for compensation of the ozonization of the apartment.
3.5 Normal final cleaning is included in the rent of the apartment. However, if the tenant has neglected cleaning the apartment during the tenancy period, so that the apartment has become exceptionally untidy, any extra cleaning exceeding one hour shall be charged by the hourly rate of 40 euros (incl. VAT 24%).
3.6 In case of any harm caused to the apartment, real estate or movables therein as a result of tenant's carelessness or disregard of instructions, the resulting expenses shall be charged from the tenant.
3.7 The dishwasher and washing machine must be used according to instructions. The machines may not be used while the tenant is away from the apartment, and any water leaks must be reported immediately to the representative of our company.
3.8 Neighbours in other apartments may not be disturbed, causing noise especially between 22:00-07:00 is prohibited.
3.9 WC and drains should be kept clear of any wastes, which could block or damage these.
3.10 Using a fireplace, incense and candles is strictly prohibited.
3.11 Using bedlinen, sheets and pillowcases in beds is compulsory.
3.12 Citykoti is not responsible for items, which are left behind in the apartment or common premises. Such items shall be delivered to the Finnish lost-and-found www.htp-palvelut.com, where queries can be made and items can be collected within 3 months.
3.13 Household waste should be delivered to the designated waste containers, which are located in the courtyard of the apartment building. You are kindly requested to sort wastes into paper, cardboard and biowaste containers, if possible.
The specific positions of waste containers by your building are indicated in the map below.
4. Luggage storage
4.1 Unfortunately, luggage cannot be stored in Citykoti.
4.2 The nearest luggage storage office is at the shoemaker's in Kamppi, where you can also find a lost-and-found office, at E-level, Narinkka 3, Kamppi Centre. At the railway station, the luggage storage office is on the 1st floor (groundfloor).
